I strongly disagree that when men and women get to gather do not make Z rather, I believe although women do X,and men do y, they get together to make Z (zygote) that is another human being shortly. You as X or Y may say I live and I am not hungry but you are not aware of what are you doing to your child due to your malinformation in terms of malnutrition. This is the responsibility of the knowledgeable agriculturalists and related field specialists i.e. IAALD members, to abolish ignorance among food producers and processors either on the field or at home, to secure world wide food safety and security.
Agricultural Knowledge Management (AKM) can do miracle in this sense. Let the agricultural as an industry, as big as the whole world, 'Act with Knowledge and Serve with Wisdom' to produce better Zs.

I am somewhat misquoted in the blog about the private sector. I said that US Wheat Associates conducted a survey in West Africa showing that there would be acceptance of noodles. As a result the noodle industry has grown in West Africa, including new ventures that would produce and market fortified noodle products.
Thanks, Ellen Levinson
